Our Boat
The club owns a modern RHIB (Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat), which we use to get to and from dive sites. It is stored on a trailer, in Bromsgrove, we then tow it to the seaside when we want to go diving. The boat contains appropriate safety equipment and is serviced annually to ensure the safety of everyone.
The boat is a 5.2m Valiant RIB with a Yamaha 80hp 4-stroke engine. On-board we have a GPS, sonar fish finder, GMDSS/DSC Radio, Marinox Oxygen therapy equipment and marine safety equipment (Flares, Smokes, First-Aid Kit, etc.).
Most of our dive leaders are boat handler trained.
